Colton Wiseman
My Story
Growing up on a horse farm near the city of Chicago, I experienced cultural diversity at its finest. Looking to strengthen my cultural exposure and independence, I decided that somewhere in the south would be best, and Baylor Business quickly became my new home. An opportunity to sell door-to-door arose my freshman year, where I relocated to Denver, CO for the summer. After discovering my passion for sales, I joined Baylor's Professional Selling program. My sophomore year I wanted to further my cultural exposure, so I studied abroad in Peru, living with a native, spanish-speaking family. On returning, I had my eyes laser-focused on furthering my career goals. As a result, I placed in multiple sales competitions, made Dean's Honors list, led an event generating $8,000+ which was donated to Hurricane Harvey Relief, and scored an internship with a fortune 500 company, Owens Corning. Now, as a senior, I am fully ready to make this year even better than the last. I hope you enjoy my site!
Student Showcase
My good friends and family call me C for short, so posted are a few C words to describe myself. You may also see an animal starting with the letter C, any guesses to why I have a chameleon on here?….This is because I have been called a chameleon by sales managers and fellow sales reps in both sales companies I worked for, because of my ability to adapt and mirror different people that I am speaking with. This adaptability has served me well in my sales career thus far.
Competitive. This first picture shows some of the rewards I earned for winning the door-to-door sales competition. I won the hoverboard in the semi-finals when I was paired head-to-head against my older brother and I won by one sale, and the 65” TV was from winning the championship. I also had the most sales pitches at Owens Corning this past summer, which allowed me to wear this victory belt multiple times.
Coachable. This was a word my management used to describe me, based on my ability to take feedback and learn from it quickly. This is a main reason I excelled to the top in both my sales careers so far.
Collaborative. This past summer at Owens Corning I was the project manager for a big initiative. As the project manager I created a team, held budget meetings, planned logistics, drove attendance, and learned to collaborate with multiple executives in different roles throughout the company, which ultimately led to this event being a great success.
Do you C how it is WISE to team with me?

J.D. De La Rosa
Founder/Former Owner Vault Security
"As Colton’s manager for Vault Security, I highly recommend Colton for any position in sales and/or sales operations.
Colton’s coachability, hardwork, and positive “can-do” attitude made him a pleasure to manage. He was quick to learn, and he never ceased searching for ways to improve his craft. The consistency of these traits allowed Colton to be a top performer at Vault, and ultimately win the sales competition.
Along with his drive for success, Colton exhibited great interpersonal skills and EQ maturity far beyond his peers. This was proven as Colton was the youngest sales representative in the office, yet he turned out to be an office leader. He not only led his peers in production, but he was a team player who was always eager to help others succeed.
There are big things ahead for this sales superstar. Colton was an asset to Vault, and he will truly be an asset to any company."
